Biography
Alice Scotti is a doctoral student at the EDEG in Montpellier. After having followed a dual training in economics and sociology at the University of Côte d'Azur (Nice), she specialized in agricultural development and economic policies at the Institute of Development Studies of the Sorbonne (Paris 1 University).
Her thesis focuses on evaluating the costs and benefits of citizen participation in water management projects and policies. His research is carried out in Tunisia (PACTE project) and in Occitanie, France. Before starting her thesis, Alice worked on the analysis of recent developments in irrigation in France (G-EAU, INRAE), and on the scientific management of the Water, Agriculture and Climate Change chair. In addition, she contributed to the CIRAD Inteerface research project on the governance and financing of public policies for ecological transition in Guadeloupe during end-of-studies and gap year internships.
